Asher began his career at an early age under the lights of the stage, where he got his first break at an open casting call for the theatre production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" as Chip. Loving the theatre, Asher continued auditioning and is now on his way to becoming widely recognized.

Most of Asher's experience stems from several years in theatre. His theatre roles include the Prince (Edward) in "The Prince and the Pauper" at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre (World Premiere) and at the Ordway Center in Minneapolis/St. Paul. He played the principal role of "Oliver" in "Oliver," cast in NYC for The North Carolina Theatre; "The Sound of Music" (National Tour) with Richard Chamberlain; "Applemondo's Dreams" at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, NYC; "Dear Maudie" at the John Houseman Theatre in NYC; his longest-running role (2-years) in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" (1st National Tour); and lastly Asher played the lead role of Conway Birdie in the production of "Bye Bye Birdie," The Professional Children's School in New York City.

Asher has just finished a feature film, "Come Away Home," with a limited release in January of 2005. This past year he also completed filming an ABC Family original movie, "Pop Rocks," with Gary Cole. Asher plays the lead role of Liam, son to a dad who has an interesting past, to say the least. "Pop Rocks" is airing regularly on ABC Family, so be sure to check it out!

Television works include a guest-starring role on the new Nickelodeon television show "Zoey 101." Other works include many a national commercials, numerous voice-over spots, "The Conan O'Brien Show," Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, and he has been interviewed and sung on ABC talk shows.

Aside from acting, Asher enjoys many other activities. He loves to travel, and recently ventured to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, to see some of his friends films and to spend a lot of time on the slopes skiing, one of his most favorite past times. And when he's not bundled up high in the mountains, he's learning to ride the waves on the California coast. He also looks for any opportunities to go horseback riding. Asher stays involved with many community service projects, and is very active in school. He just completed the role of Lysander in the play "Midsummer Nights Dream" for his high school, and is also on the basketball team.

Asher first and foremost wishes to thank God for all the wonderful opportunities he has been given as well as his family, Bryan, Susan, and CED for believing in him.
